BPI Certified -

Solo® Cup has received certification for some of its products from the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI). Products currently certified are Bare™ PLA Hot Cups (374PLA, 378PLA, 370PLA, 410PLA, 412PLA, 316PLA, and 420PLA) and Bare™ PLA Compostable Consumer Cold Cups (EC14). BPI is an independent organization that reviews and certifies products as meeting ASTM D6400 and D6868 specifications for compostability. These products are intended to be composted in a municipal or commercial facility operated in accordance with best composting management practices.
